I tried everything I could come up with and it slipped. Maybe I was the exception to the rule. It just didn't work for me.

I never liked rings. I got t5he same kind of slippage, and it also got to where it was difficult to adjust after a load was applied ( in other words, after I'd laid in it).

I use cinch buckles on all my hammocks now, whether its the ones on my DIT or the Lock N Loads on the Hennesseys.

I tried the rings, and the worked okay, but I switched to a Dutchware Buckle Suspension with Dutch Clips and it is far easier to deal with, holds tight, is smaller & lighter... simply better and faster in every way. I kept the ridge line, but converted it with a Dutch Titanium Ridgeline Biner so that I can release it. The Dutchware made my Hennessey far easier and in my opinion better and has probably saved me countless dollars in trial/error.
