Have you peeked under the Christmas tree?

I like to be surprised on Christmas but I happened across a $299 payment to Hammock Gear in my PayPal account. Looks like I'll be finding a cuben fiber tarp under the tree. Yippee!

Anybody else excited by gear they know they'll be giving or receiving during the winter holidays?

I was very excited about the secret santa/space weasel gift I sent out. I am also excited about a gift I gave to a friend, I know she will love it.

I'm getting an UQ and a tarp. I don't care about surprises...I peeked.

Giving quite a few. Doubtful I get much. I normally get myself the things I want or need.
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the strength to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

I asked for a new Thread Injector this year. Don't think I'll be getting one though. I'll wind up getting things my wife found at the flea market that I don't need but she thinks I want. They'll go into the box with all the other flea market swag.

Made everyone promise to not give me gifts this year.

Instead I visited the local SPCA, and did my first selfy!

Good on you Jayson!! What a cute kitty! Does he/she have a new home in your hammock??

Asked mum for her old Singer for Christmas (and I think I'm getting it ) Other than that, I have no idea.

I made a lot of the gifts I'm giving this year so I'm looking forward to seeing people's reactions, especially my sisters, who know I had trouble sewing on a button!

I ordered a new Thunderbird for myself and a Dangerbird for my 13 year old son. Can't wait until after Christmas to string it between a couple trees.
