    Ridgeline material

So, on Black Friday I ordered up some of TATO's tarp ridgeline attachment thingies (which are way cool) so I'll be testing out a continuous ridgeline for my tarp.

Here's the thing - I want to test using a NiteIze CamJam with it - I've got a mental image in my head that might work. My suspicion is that stranded material (along the lines of Amsteel) wouldn't work as well as the strands may be prone to separation in the cam lock, and my normal zing-it/lash-it would be too small a diameter to work.

    Ideas?
I used to be a somebody, now I just camp.

Just curious... Where are you going to put the camjams?

you could always use the sheath from 550 cord over the line in the places that will be contacting the jams with a knot at the end to keep the line from sliding in the sheath, but i am sure that there are better ways. Managing that would be a hassle.

My experience in using plastic gadgets with amsteel, zing-it, lash-it is this line is too slippery. In rough weather they all slip.

Cam Jams won't work with it. DAMHIK.
Work great with poly braid line.
I use an S-biner hooked to a brummel eye on the anchor end and the half loop knot that Brandon from Warbonnet uses on his rig in the tarp videos

    Pic with braided poly:
