My bridge hammock arrived the other day. Not multicam but standard color. Hung it up the first night it arrived just to check it out. To say it felt comfortable would be an understatement. It was in the upper 30's & for me that's cold here in Florida. I put my HG UQ on it & it fit like a glove another pleasant surprise. It was windy so installed my ZQ wind/rain protector on it. After some minor adjustments it fit just fine also. Couldn't resist after that work decided to sleep in it that night. Everyone appears to brag about the lay of the bridge hammocks & watching shug's video tipped me over the edge. I havent done any reviews of the gear I have but just have to say without a doubt that was the most comfortable sleep I have had in a hammock ever. Love the view out of both sides. I side sleep the most & it was perfect for me that way along with sleeping on my back. That was my first time seeing or trying a bridge hammock & even after that initial sleep I will be a bridge guy from here on out for sure. Brandon got it right with this design for me anyway.
Just FYI, you ordered from Brandon. Not Adam...
After the first night in my RR I will never turn back!!!! My buddy keeps asking me if he can borrow it and I can use his BB and at that point I say I will just sleep in my BMBH. The RR is my go to but I am now a bridge fellow through and through. You did good buddy. That is by far the most comfortable hammock in my collection.
By the way.... You should add the BMBH to your collection as well. In IMHO. It too is a nice lay and I at this point still take much pleasure switching between the two. Those two vendors are are top notch in all of their products. Cheers to both of them and what they have contributed throughout the years.
This is all great info thanks!!! Really looking forward to getting it, especially the multicam!!!
If this is your first bridge you should be pleased. I have a black bird and a couple DIY's, both stay at home now. The ridge runner is easier to hit the sweet spot with (for me anyhow) and I too am a side sleeper. I could crash for a few hours in a gathered end then it was fidgit time. Not so, with the RR 7 to 8 hours of virtual paralysis for me.
I think that I shall never see
