Best way to secure Dutch clips?

Tried out my Dutch bling today in the backyard. Very very nice.

I have a question now, what is best practice for making sure I don't lose my Dutch clips?

Tarpflyz are attached to the tarp itself.

    Thank you

(I'll be asking in the Warbonnet section too)

After it is on either hand sew a single stitch towards the bottom or sew a line. If you are using WB webbing it is firm enough it should stay in with out stitching. Especially after you load it a couple times.

Im waiting to pull the trigger on a pair of these bad boys. Just holding off for as long as i can, holding for a special. I have already have a plan though.
I plan to tie a loop of shock cordto the end of the tree strap loop and slip the clip in the loop. Maybe larks head a loop of shock cord through the knot (holding the Dutch Clip) to hold the tree strap during storage.
If Señor Dutch put a little nub of titanium like the Dutch Buckle to secure shock cord it'd make it easier.

Like I said it's all theoretical I don't own these yet but it seems sound.

Single line of sewing versus shock cord. single line sew wins. i wouldn't have even thought of it. Dutch has spoken.

I sewed in as Dutch said. Depending on how things are attached, you can also sew in different colors 'Red for HEad', or something. (red thread at the head in, some other color for the feet end) So when you are pushing to get set up on a dark and stormy night, you pull out an end and know at a glance, which end of the hammock you have.

A small red zip tie cinched around the tree strap eye for the head, and a black one for the foot. Been rigged like that for many hangs, never a problem.

The clips did seem quite secure but no way do I want to lose my awesome Dutch bling.

I will be doing some stitching before my trip next month.

Thank you Dutch and everyone else who responded.

If its red thread at the head, then the colour to put at the foot should be soot.
