While the Jacks might have some input here my answer would be maybe. If you are pushing the limits on length in your JRB bridge the overlap at the ends might be of some benifit. Otherwise no benifit in my opinion. The other use of course is that it would be the most awsome cold weather top quilt ever for a taller person.

    ALCON,

My take is that Mixinmaster missed the best set up possible for the custom long bridge that this quilt was specifically made for......

It is longer than necessary for a BMBH and offer little extra coverage as RSTMS opines.... And it will require some extra rigging to get it to fit the 80 inch BMBH bed area....

The best "other" use for this long Mt Washington is for a tall person, over 6'5" in a gathered end hammock.... Rigs right up with a std JRB Suspension Set....A shorter person could use it also.... Just a little longer and about 1-2 oz heavier than a regular MW-4.

Darn nice UQ, State of the Art in UQ design.... Tall folk should give this unique long model serious thought.....

Given that a regular MW-4 is $ 359 and this is longer and with more down the offered price is a great deal.... Especially since it has just a few night of use.

Two nights as a conventional UQ on speer type hammock. Never wet or dirty. Nothing at all wrong with it except it is lonely for someone who would put it to good use.

    RT,

Best approach would be to add attachment loops at the 78 inch points on both side s od one end then it will fit as a stock MW-$ would and you could draw the extra mostly together on that end....There are other approaches but this would be the best answer.

Just now I'm going to hang on to it since I bought a BMBH...see earlier post. It actually fits a standard BMBH well too. May decide to sell it again later if I don't keep the bridge.

OK! In my current situation, I'm in a "slow shopping" mode for a full length winter-weight UQ. This means I'm not quite ready to pull the trigger unless a good target of opportunity appears. As cooler weather approaches (never too far away in Minnesota!!), my sense of urgency will increase.

If you decide to sell, send me a PM. The JRB folks seem to do good work and are very responsive to questions. Hard to go wrong with the vendors we have available!

The Jacks are indeed good guys. I'll keep you in mind but you are second in line as someone else also PM'd me about it before.
