All the ripstop from that seller seems to be PU coated, not silny. The only seller I see with silny is montanasoftware. They sell it for $2.10/ft. Shipping is $2.00 for the first foot plus $.35 for each additional foot. If you were to get 8 yds (24 ft, which is common for a tarp) it should come out to $60.45 if my math is right and that includes shipping.

I'm sure the silny isn't bad but I just prefer to support our cottage vendors. But hey I'm all for someone going after a good deal

This has been my experience with them as well. I'll be going back.

I bought 4 yards of 1.9 oz Ripstop Multi-cam Nylon from rrt_trading_post a week ago. The plan is to turn it into an 11 foot hammock. This is my second purchase of fabric from a vendor on eBay. Now if I could only find some Multi-cam Silnylon.

Not gonna happen, but that Epsilon from Duro looks like it might do the trick with the Nanosphere coating.

I just finished a double layer 1.9 with coyote brown from rrt_trading_post inside and digital camo from diy gear supply outside I was pleased with both fabrics and the price/shipping was nearly identical. Photos of my hammock are in my gallery or in this post.

    Thanks guys and gals

I never spotted the pu coating. I am still in the materials research stage and not sure where I will go.
