This being my first overnighter in the winter away from the car I wasn't really into leaving much behind so here I am with my backpack on my backpack.
Home sweet home, just as the sun is going down.
I was pretty surprised to find out that the only other one crazy enough to do something like this was OutandBack.
Friday was full of sunshine with a low Friday night of 23º.
Saturday started off pretty bright.
OutandBack elected for a new location a little more protected from the wind after it looked like the forecast was calling for more wind, some snow and lower temps.
It started clouding up around noon. Here's a view of Jefferson and South Park as we went for a hike to the top of the hill.
Chillin on the couch.
Making water.
It started snowing around 6pm and it was down to 20º by about 8:00.
A little frosty in the morning.
The clouds/fog was really thick but then cleared away instantly as the sun came up.
2-3 inches of snow overnight.
Looks like somebody got plenty of sleep.
And the sun shines again.
What can I say, sunshine, snow, single digits, great place and awesome company. Thanks again O&B, you da man!
