That may have been me. I read a post from Brandon a while back where he said the Superfly was designed for two lines rather than a single CRL. I took his word for it, especially since it saves me extra lines and hassle.

i have a superfly, and i used a crl with prussik knots on either side of ridgeline attached w/ micro s-biners by nite- ize, works great for me.

Tried a CRL, got tired of fighting tangles in the 30 foot of rope. Switch to two 15 long lines with tarp flyz on each end, much easier less tangles

I agree with the 2line method, as recommended by Brandon. The tarp stays tight and it's easy to adjust if needed

I started my SF just the way Brandon showed in his video, with two lines. Works great, but I'm no good at shooting from the hip with centering it over the hammock (or in weather, centering the hammock under the tarp). I just swapped it out for the CRL that Derek Hanson demonstrated in the video mentioned earlier. Yard testing worked great, just need to try it for real, preferably in some wind/rain.

    Crl

It what I use on my larger tarps like the Superfly. Dutch biners and lash-it prussics. I wrap them about 4 or 5 times and they hold.

Thanks everybody. I appreciate all of the input. I am going to go ahead with the CRL, and if it turns out I don't like it, I can always cut it down into separate lines for the ends.

Here is what I ened up going with after ORF's advice... hope to try it later this month on a BWA hang to see if any noticeable difference from the CRL I'm accustomed to....

I think tarp suspensions are a lot of fun; I'd settled on a CRL with a dutch hook and tarp flyz and used that for a long time. Tarp was attached to the CRL with to prussic knots.

However, I just switched my suspension to two seperate tie outs using Dutch Stingerz. The change saved me a couple of ounces. I like how you can move a tarp on the CRL but thought I'd give this a try; never thought I'd use anything other than a CRL.

I was supprised that the Dutch Stingerz is actually lighter weight than the flyz!

I think tarp suspensions are one of those things that we continue to tweak over time!
