How long are the poles you are using? How many sections?

Six 18 inch poles. I had to cut down a pole per side to get the proper length though.

Looks great, clean and still light weight for the long hikes. Do you happen to have a materials list you used?

That looks great, very clean and simple.

Does it need a CRL to help support the poles?

Attached is a drawing and should help answer most questions. As far as using or not using a CRL, you might be able to get away without it. The amount of pressure against my CRL is significantly reduced by adding the 145 arch. Keep in mind this has only been set up in my garage. Might be something different in a storm. Thanks guys

If the drawing I posted doesn't help just let me know and I'll break it down more.

so those are the 45 degrees? .344 poles?
You said you cut down the poles, how much? I'm wondering what your pole length is on each side.

I just won an eBay auction for some .334 poles I can't wait to do this to my superfly. Still need to order the 145` doodad.
