I'm headed to Buffalo Wilderness Area later this month for a 2 night walk-about...I'd really like to make this event in March and get to meet many of the fine folks from HF. Its now on my calendar but will have to wait a month before I can make final commitment. Good stuff.

Am going to do my best to be there, hopefully with my daughter and others, but can't make definite commitment.
It would be meaningful as my dad learned to swim in the Buffalo; I grew up viewing a huge Photo/painting of the Buffalo river /bluff in our living room; and my dad's ashes were spread in the river. Lots of family history .

How many people from TX plan on going and would chip in for a van or something to tote a crew of peeps?

Depending on the amount of folks that plan on going would determine the size needed?

I plan on coming with my dad and 2 runts (so that makes 4 but two are small and could fit under seats) (ok well not really under seats....)

I live in McKinney, I may leave a day early, I am 90% going, I have a big pickup. I am more then willing to tote peeps out there and back, just ask for some gas money. I think gospidey said he was up for sharing a ride. I got a big back seat but not sure it could hold 4.

What are the temps like at Kyle's landing at this time of year? I put this on the family calendar and all of a sudden my wife who never wants to go on these trips with me, not only wants to go, also wants to bring our kids!!!

I am all for it, but it means I will be seen with ground dwellers!!
