    Howdy from Northern Michigan

    Just wanted to say hi, introduce myself, and say thanks for all of the insight and knowledge shared previously on this forum. I dabble a little bit in backpacking and camping, but my true passion is fly fishing. I do freelance writing and photography for several fly fishing publications, and also do guided trips in beautiful northern MI and the eastern U.P. A few years ago while on a backcountry trip in the Adirondacks, a friend hammock camped and I have wanted one ever since. Got one for Christmas this year and have been doing a lot of reading here and elsewhere on the web and am a little overwhelmed, but can't wait to figure this all out!
