For those that are planning to attend, we have added a few additional items on the spreadsheet. If you see a particular item(s) that you are comfortable with bringing to the island, we would certainly appreciate the help. Being three weeks out, we would also like to see who will be planning to stay over Sunday night.

It just so happens my dad brought me some fresh pecans when he visited last month.

Boil is planned for Saturday night... However.... Deserts are welcomed every night. I will have a large Dutch Oven available for use on Friday and Sunday nights. My daughter is planning a desert for Saturday night. She is expressing her displeasure with the organizers for not continuing to DO competition from last year...Alright then. I am so ready to be on the island. Every time I go to work, my truck wants to keep on going down the road a few miles to the boat ramp and then on to the island. I am so close right now it's not funny.

Well my daughter got home from college last night. I invited her to come with us, but Sawgy Bottom declined. Timberrr and I will still be coming for sure. We may or may not bring the dogs since I'll have a house sitter at home.
We will arrive on Friday, I'm shooting for early afternoon. If I could manage it, I'd be leaving next week!

Just had dinner with Lil Ricky. He'll be letting us know within in the week if he's able to get off work and come. Let's hope he can get away for a few days of H&H (Hammocking and Hanging) which is waaay better than R&R IMHO.
