    It's already here!

I spoke to Brandon at lunchtime Thursday, just before he began my BB. It arrived here in rural upstate New York today (Monday). I took my dog, the REAL Quoddy, to the edge of the woods in my backyard and tied him up while I set it up (he'd be loose, but I've had a serious bear problem for the past 10 days). I tried it out and was surprised by the roomy feel inside as well as the fact that I'll be able to sleep either on my left side, as normal, or on my back... which was extremely comfortable. As everyone knows by now, the features and workmanship are excellent. To say I'm happy with the BlackBird would be an understatement.

Haven't thought about asking Brandon about this but does the BB come with carabiners?

I've heard of some folks getting them, but I didn't get any with mine. Maybe he didn't have any at the time he shipped.

    Maybe you'll get lucky!

Brandon specifically mentioned that mine wan't coming with carabiners. I have several sets already including the Camp brand that I'm using with it.

Very nice. Looks like a nice location.

Can relate to the bear problem. I'm actually holding off on backyard hammocking for a while.

Said to be same as those sold at Trek Light only with Warbonnet printed on side. Nice, Light, well made and ample for hammock set up-not climbing.
