    SE Idaho Quick Overnighter 14°

Went on a quick overnighter Friday night. Only got down to 14°. Was hoping for less. All of us slept comfortably and warm. I used an Exped downmat 9 and 0° Kelty Lightyear. No tarp because I lent mine to my little brother. The bug netting on the Hennessy stopped most the light dusting of snow we had. Had some wind as well but I didn't even notice it with my ear plugs in and only my nose sticking out which was covered by a face mask.
It was quick but fun to get out and enjoy a snow hike and some warm food around the fire. Had ice all around the bib zone in the morning. Need to get a bib like Shug. Not the best setup but comfortable and warm so I won't complain.

Yeah my family is in the Burley area. I am home visiting for the holidays but next semester is starting this coming week so I will be gone back to school and probably won't be getting another trip in anytime soon. Wish I could.
