    ENO 2009 catalog is online

here's the new eno 2009 catalog
it's in photo form not .pdf .....
I just took some pics of the catalog and posted them.
why eno would not have gotten this into a nice .pdf file? who knows?
all that money for the catalog in hard copy.......
it would have been easy to go one more small step,
heck, they already had all the necessary files, graphics, photos!

they added a few new interesting items to their lineup .....

I was just thinking the same thing! When did ENO decide to step-up like that? Even packs!? Go ENO go!

The are some items there I would like to take a closer look at. Interesting for sure.

Yeah, but all the things I want to try aren't on their site yet. I'm pretty curious about their version of the Jungle Hammock. I haven't found one yet that I'm real comfy in; I'm holding high hopes for the ENO model. Of course, the Ember is on my 'gotta try it' list.

Anybody have any guesses as to what the flat bottom on the Ember is all about? It looks like it wouldn't provide much warmth set like that.

Wow, thanks spidennis. I just ordered their catalog on-line yesterday, and am anxiously awaiting it. It looks like the underbelly could be a hammock in it's own right, and at 12oz perhaps an entry for them in the ultralight niche as well? I can't say I'm too keen on an extra 12oz to keep my gear off the ground, although it's intriguing to think about that as an option to take a kid along and keep him close to you under the same tarp. Good to see the innovation continuing in this fast growing area.

Yeah they sure aren't shooting for the ultralight crowd. 38 oz for the underquilt.....

I thought this is interesting and similar to an idea I got going. I have the guardian bug net that I'm about to modify by slitting the bottom and adding a waterproof bottom to be used as a ground cloth for when I have to go to ground camping. It would be a bug bivy of sorts. I wonder if this new setup's bottom is waterproof?
