    New Indoor Setup

Figured I'd post some pics of my new indoor setup. I put eye bolts in two studs on each side to spread out the force a bit, and ran 1.5" polyester webbing through each one to suspend the hammock. Added a ridgeline made from cheap "low stretch" cord and hung a blanket underneath to keep myself toasty warm. I spent the last two nights in it and slept soundly.

How long is that hammock. Looks huge. Must be super comfortable.

    Great setup

Very nice. Recently put up a similar setup in my basement. Sleep in it about 3 nights a week. Works wonders for my back. I 'm currently using a 24 inch wide sleeping pad in it but, your blanket under quilt looks like it may be worth trying.

The hammock is about 11'6", and it's comfortable but it does feel a bit long. I'm going to re-gather the ends once I get my amsteel UCRs, so I may make it a tad shorter then. The blanket is 100% polyester, folded in half so it's double-layered beneath me. It's super warm, but it's also super heavy - I would never want to carry it anywhere. It works in the house though, and we keep it around 60* at night.

    Spread'n the load

Nice set-up....I did the same in my basement on the wall where I couldn't see the studs and ensure that I was dead center (using ENO wall anchors). Love'n it! I took an atlas strap and threaded it through both. ( I think that pic will post....this is my 1st time responding to a thread....noob)
