    Fontana lake trip

We had a Great time on our trip to Fontana lake in the Smokies Mountains. We stayed at camp site #90 on Eagle Creek. Chemok,Dyehard,Rex, Eric and I enjoyed our time there. Chemok and I went over Thursday and the rest came over Friday morning after the storm passed over. We carried a big tarp and stayed nice and dry. We were thinking ahead and took a case of Duraflame logs over and had a nice fire each night. Not much firewood! The group that was there, went into a panic as soon as we stepped off the boat to get what firewood they could see around the camp site. We didn't care! each duralog burned 3+hours. We eat good, drank 3-1/2 gallons of Milo's tea, hiked, fished, and stayed dry thanks to tarps and rain suits. Next year we're going to carry frog gigs, the bullfrogs where everywhere, plus snakes. Most important we enjoyed each other's company and the relaxation of being outdoors, and getting to sleep in my Hammock! Thomas

About the horse's! There was a group of about 7 guys. Two was brothers, one was the guide for the horseback adventure and one was the guide for the fishing adventure. They had two boats, one for supplies and the other was the big fishing boat. They was fishing when we got up in the morning and was fishing when we went to bed. The full moon was Great two of the nights, Rex and Eric came over by kayak, and one night took a moonlight ride. Before those guys left they had Hammock Forums.net wrote down in they pocket. The next time we see them, they will be in a Hammock! DougTheelder I saw that! I'm not just lazy! I'm getting fat and lazy! The guy on the boat ride over ask me why am I carrying so much stuff?
