Whoopie slings and rain?

I just tie a couple of slippery half-hitches after the bury, before my hammock. Seems to work out so far and doesn't require any additional hardware.

Btw. I have my whoopie larksheaded right through the endchannels of my DD. Works perfect.

I also have my woopie slings through the end channels. Tying a slippery half hitch with the loose end of the woopie where I want the drip line to be has always worked for me, even in severe or multi-day rains.

Odds are the toggle is not going to me under the tarp, so it won't stop the rain that is collected below it. You need some kind of break under the tarp near the hammock.
