Im wondering why HH discontinued the racer models, and several others. Not only this, but ive seen yellow HH's. What is this all about?

My guess is too many models means less profit. You have to adjust to demand.

I recommend that you call them up and ask them! Like everybody in the hammock industry, these are very friendly people. Only diff is that, unlike virtually everybody else in the hammock industry, for whatever reason they don't use HammockForums.
I've only been here for a short time, but I definitely get the impression that only small 'cottage' & 'boutique' vendors are active here at HF. I don't know all the reasons, but here have been discussions here about Hennessey in the past. Exped is another 'big' vendor that isn't active here.
Many Americans are sick of seeing our jobs outsourced to the East.
Many HF members prefer to keep our dollars here in the USA supporting a movement to bring back small businesses.
Hennessy and Exped out source their manufacturing to places like Taiwan China and Korea. Is the gear just as good? Probably.
IMO that is why these companies are not as popular, have a lower resale value and not talked about as much on HF.

One of the reasons I would bet they outsource to China is Hennessey's are Canadian. Unlike our friends south of 49, we pay a lot more for most items than those in the US. The product of buying power shows when we have roughly 35 million people in Canada whilst you folks are around 316 million. Makes for some nice discounts.
As a small business owner myself, I've had to outsource some things in order to get the product to market. If I hadn't, the numbers would never have worked. I do use a Canadian source now because I can drive to the location and I can enforce any quality control issues but when we first started, it was cheaper to get a whole order in, reject it, and get another fixed and sent again from China than to go local.
I do like to keep my money local when possible but it's not always. How would I buy Dutchware otherwise ;-)
Just my two cents.

How about those Warbonnets? Nice hammock if you ask me. Nothing to see here.....
