I have the dwr on hand, also untreated and or dwr is still cheaper than the sil, plus its just cool to say I treated it myself and it has held up. furthermore you only have a limited selection of colors in sil

That makes a lot of sense.

HOWEVER, you will never build up a respectable fabric stash if you keep on using what you have on hand, rather than buying a lot of extra fabric (and webbing, and hardware, etc etc....) that you don't really need.

Right. the Better half usually holds all the little duckies . so I make dew. I am most likely going to get different fabric than what I have. I just measured it and its only 46" wide and I really need it to be at least 60"
