    Tissue and Smaller Needle

I've put off sewing up my Argon and down UL UQ until getting better at sewing.

Had dinner last night with a former Home Economics teacher, who is now a Ph.D. candidate at Texas Tech.

I told her how difficult it was to sew lightweight fabrics.

She suggested a smaller needle and using tissue. That gives me a lot of hope for future projects.

Make sure you change that needle often. Tissue is a very coarse wood pulp product and will the needle faster than you can imagine. It will work, but there is a downside and a cost.
I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.

"Bless you child, when you set out to thread a needle don't hold the thread still and fetch the needle up to it; hold the needle still and poke the thread at it; that's the way a woman most always does, but a man always does t'other way."
