WELCOME! to the high life! Looks like you're off to a good start.

If it gets windy or rainy, you've got room to lower your tarp a bit...

Looks great. I especially like those ancient ruins in the background.

    first hammock setup

Awesome bud, you'll sleep like a brick. Taught looking setup . Hard to see if you'll have trouble without a pic of the setup with a load.
If you're worried about rain/wind try putting your suspension above your tarp ridgeline. That's a Derek Hansen - Ultimate Hanger Guide pro tip.
Looks like you may have a little duel tarp/hammock wobble though when you enter or exit.

100x better than my first hang. I'm too shy to post a pic but it was me hanging from my mothers clothesline in a sheet with my fathers tow ropes for suspension and a blue tarp draped over..... Sure you can guess how my night was?

Well rain will probably run down that natural stone gully to your right. It looks like a flood drainage. You should be fine, just keep everything of the ground.

    Welcome from Alaska bro!
