I have to add a note of explanation to one of Sparkfly88's pictures in the previous post. Look at the 10th frame, the one with the sun filtering through the trees and the back of a white shirt in the foreground. That is the back of Rev. timberrr performing the renewal of marriage vows for the 6 couples at the bottom of the frame.

How heart-warming is THAT? This Florida Hang is about a lot more than hammocks! It's the people in them who we call, family!

And in my bottom link I have two videos of that!

My battery died in the middle of it, I did a quick swap, and went on with recording

    My first hang...

this year and it was fantastic! It was good to see y'all again and meet a bunch of new people. It's impossible to describe the environment properly! Many firsts at the hang this year. Wow!

Had a fantastic time!!! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The food was unbelievable and it kept coming and coming. We were hardly done with one meal before the next one was being offered. Many thanks to Gumbo, Sandy and Richtor and everyone else who helped with the cooking.

I met so many enthusiastic and helpful people. Missy and Paul from UGQ were fantastic. They walked out to my campsite to give me advice on how to sleep warmer. Paul adjusted my underquilt suspension and they both spent a great deal of time discussing my particular "cold" issues. I am already in the process of scouring their website for the best product solutions for me.

I can't wait till next year!!!
I jumped on the back of a butterfly
We took off high into the sky
We flipped, we flew, we turned, we fluttered
    "Enjoying yourself?" the butterfly uttered
"Surely!" I said as we lit on a flower

This hang is always on my list to do every year. It was a great time once again. I remember telling someone that we would be hard pressed to find a better place to have it. We had some very cold weather again to add to the fun. I believe itsandy recorded 23.1 one morning. I don't know if that is official, but if it is, I believe that would be the record low for this hang. As always, everyone was well behaved. Well....as behaved as crazy hangers can be in the woods! Many thanks to all the people that make this happen. I won't name names, for fear of leaving someone out, but the list is long. Also, thanks to the vendors, who continue to support this event. Without your contributions, it wouldn't be the same. I didn't win any of the wonderful raffle prizes, but I know those who did are very grateful. It was an absolute pleasure hanging with all of you again. I didn't get a lot of photos, but here are a few. See you guys next year for #5!
