Hello, I am fairly new to hammock camping but I fell in love with the comfort and relaxation. I love to read between my two trees in my backyard. I hope to meet some of the Fellow Michigan hangers soon. Part of the reason I'm writing this is because I'm pretty bored with the snow day up here. I'd love to get some stuff to winterize my hammock but I'm tight on funds as a teenager. Thanks for all of the information and guidance throughout my start in the world of hammock camping.
Welcome, just to let you know there is a hang at Ludington State Park the weekend of February 8. Would be a great way to see some gear up close. I paddle the Manistee every year multiple times (5-600 miles). I love your area, would love to retire up there. Again welcome.
