    Your Thoughts

Hi , I have an 3 Season Incubator that I bought new in June of 2010 from HG which I have only used once . I was thinking of having some overfill added to it (about 35% more) , and was wondering if this is something that could be done , and if so who could I have do it , and if so would it be costly to do ? Thanks in advance.

HG can hook you up. Adam doesn't sell a quilt called a 3-season. Are you referring to a 20* Incubator? That's 12 oz. of fill, and you want 16 oz. of fill. Looks like Adam charges about $9 per ounce, so $36 (plus any labor or shipping).

He can also upgrade it to the new dual suspension while he is at it.

Question: If you've only used it once, why do you want to add fill?

No it's a 3 season incubator , back in the day he only made a 3 season and a winter UQ. As far as wanting more fill , from what I'm reading lately there would be a lot of advantages .

I am no expert, but I would think it would be rather labour intensive to remove stitching add fill and re-sew it. You may want to consider selling yours and order a new one.

Yes that's what I was thinking , but I thought I'd ask in case anyone has done something similar.

You've only used it once. Use it several times and see if there is anything lacking for you needs. If there is, then is the time to talk to Adam at HG and see what he recommends. No point fixing what isn't broken.

FWIW...all of the quilt makers start with 20%-30% overfill as their standard fill, so depending on what you've been reading, you may already have what you're asking for.

You could just supplement the uq with a sit pad made of reflectix or ccf.
