Does anyone going have like 15' of 1/8" shock cord I can either buy, or borrow for the weekend? Or I can trade you for a RL organizer. I just got shipping notification from Paracord planet on the cord I ordered last week, and it's probably not going to be here in time.

I have about 50' of a white/color blend that is 1/8". It's on a spool. I'll bring it along. Help yourself to what you need. ATrane's maroon sounds more exciting than my white blend, but you're welcome to it.

I have a brand spanking new, never used S&W SW990 that's never been used. I'm going to give it to you Friday to wear all week-end and if you like it, you can have it. I don't use it. If you don't like it, I'll give it to one of my grandsons.

It's not an expensive knife, but its very functional. It is sheathed in a kydex holster and is very light weight. It would be good for a host of things that light duty knives are good for. Cutting guy lines, small branches, small whittling projects, use as a striker, etc....... (Even self defense in a pinch). I think you might like it, but if you see something better, it certainly won't hurt my feelings.

From the looks of things, you'll have lots of good choices to compare.

So, I'm not going back through this whole thread but I recall someone from Hatfield MA asking about carpooling. I'm in NoHo and SemperFiGuy is in Chicopee, so we're leaving Friday around 10 AM from my place, if you're interested in riding with us. We should have room in Gil's car for 3 and their gear. I'm not overpacking this trip!!! PM me if you're interested. There's a place for you to leave your car at my apartment.
