HIKE
Depart 10 a.m. Saturday and carpool (5 to 10 minutes) to the trailhead on Rte. 119 in Ashburnham, Mass.
Return 12:30 p.m. Please be ready and on-time.
Mt. Watatic, 1,832 ft has great views, for little effort. We'll ascend to along the Midstate Trail to the 1,832 Ft. summit, continuing on to Nutting Hill before returning to the parking area on Route 119 in Ashburnham, Mass. This hike is suitable for beginners and kids.
Distance: 2.9 miles
Elevation Gain: 800 Ft. (estimate)
Time 1.5 to 2 hours.
This is a an early spring hike. Please be prepared with proper clothing and footwear. Dress in layers, bring water and snacks.
