There is one south on 31 (That's the one I was referring to). Its locally owned, they have some provisions, but certainly not a complete grocery store.

For those of you coming up from Mass Rte 2, there is a Market Basket on Rte. 12, near the Jct. Rte 31 in Fitchburg.

The Auction-

Give your contribution to a volunteer at arrival.

Bidding and ticket sales will start Saturday morning

It will be same style as the winter hang

Raffle will be after dinner Saturday night.

HIKE

Depart 10 a.m. Saturday and carpool (5 to 10 minutes) to the trailhead on Rte. 119 in Ashburnham, Mass.
Return 12:30 p.m. Please be ready and on-time.

Mt. Watatic, 1,832 ft has great views, for little effort. We'll ascend to along the Midstate Trail to the 1,832 Ft. summit, continuing on to Nutting Hill before returning to the parking area on Route 119 in Ashburnham, Mass. This hike is suitable for beginners and kids.

Distance: 2.9 miles
Elevation Gain: 800 Ft. (estimate)
Time 1.5 to 2 hours.

This is a an early spring hike. Please be prepared with proper clothing and footwear. Dress in layers, bring water and snacks.
