Hi there, 'Ireland' here. I'm sending this from a cafe in Damascus, VA. 467 miles already done!
Really loving life on the trail. Going slow but starting to pick up the miles. Will be ditching my 20 degree top quilt today for something a little lighter. Couldn't ask for kinder weather, although Springer was a bit brutal on the 26th of March.

grimtongue's trail name is bottle cap. I've been following his journal. Good stuff. If you're reading this (unlikely), good luck with your foot issues. Hammock on.

This has been pretty remarkable. Most of the people on the list, if they started at all, have not checked back in. Of those who have, it appears that only Grimtounge is still at it. His trail journal has been a rush to follow. His highs and lows are well documented there and reading it makes it (almost) feel like I was there. I'm also following another hammocker, Rambling Hemlock, on the PCT trail, ramblinghemlock.blogspot.com., check it out.

I wonder if the finish to start ratio is similar across the board to what we've seen in this thread?
