    You can always give it a try first. The HH in that article was/is an Explorer model, which has quite thick suspension ropes which were too large in diameter to work well.

    You could try the West Marine in Rockville. Some of them have Spyderline, some have Amsteel, some have no idea what you're talking about. It's a good idea to call first, but a trip there could save you some time and shipping. In the past if they don't have something I want, they can get it from the regional warehouse in a few days.

    I'll check that out, thanks. I hadn't heard from them. I got my Spyderline from APS, which is actually only a block away from my girlfriend's mom's place, but I need to have this done tomorrow and I don't think I'm going to have a chance to run up to Annapolis.

    I'll definitely post pictures of the process.

    Do try west marine. The west I go to has a bargain center where I have gotten all sorts of neat stuff, including excellent line.

    West Marine in Rockville was a bust. Nothing but huge line.

    Still trying to find either something for the support or to use for my ridge line that's local and not nylon. Coming up dry.
