Anyone hammocked the Ruby Crest trail in Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest, Nevada? I am looking at pictures and it seems like there may be just enough trees in this alpine terrain for hammocking.
Any experience with this trail would be greatly appreciated. Any time I can get off the ground is great!

Member here KSC has. He lives in Elko and has been all over the Rubys. I've been down and hung with him a few times and every bit of the range I have seen is great for hammocks. Shoot KSC a PM, I'm sure he can help with specifics. Also he has a couple trip reports I believe.
