    Calling all 2-in-1 hangers

tl;dr if you sleep two to a hammock, I'd like to know who you are!

I am a 2-in-1 hanger -- my girlfriend and I share an ENO doublenest when we camp. This affords a number of benefits including but not limited to sharing insulation and shelter weights.

I am just getting into DIY gear, and in my prep research, I realized that a lot of dimensions and other advice are intended for solo hangers. In fact, other than for people to talk about how uncomfortable it is, I have hardly heard any mention of 2-to-1 hangers on these forums.

But I personally find it quite comfortable, and I would hope there are at least a few of you who feel the same way. If you are such a hanger and see this thread, please post back, because I'd like to pick your brain about hanging 2 in one hammock.

..it might be more comfortable for 2-in-1 with your girlfriend than with your wife...just saying.

Cuddle, yes. Sleep, no. I'm still working on good setups for two hammocks side by side.

I wouldn't mind it one bit, but then, I think, where do I go when I start snoring and she "helps" me stop. Not much wiggle space to adjust, I'd think. Maybe cuddling with my wife, laying on my side would keep me from snoring. I wouldn't mind side-by-side hammocks either, but this is not that thread.

I'll be watching to see some solutions to having a better chance of a 2-in-1 hammock hang.
Enjoy and have fun with your family, before they have fun without you

I remember seeing a good one in one of the fronky vids and it is three trees. Two hammocks connected to the same tree on one end and two different trees maybe 5' or 6' apart on the other end. Maybe he can elaborate.

You need to embrace the Clark vertex in function...three trees, one in front and two in back.

Let us see some pictures. I want my wife to hammock with me but she needs cuddling to avoid being scared out in the wilderness. I cant imagine any comfortable position sleeping 2-1 all night.

That's what Hillbilly Deluxe and VineyGirl did for the MN FBH. They shared a tarp (or rather a combination of several tarps into one big enclosure), but separate hammocks.
