possible hot tent style hammock shelter

Ok, so here goes......I was looking around online and saw a man on youtube using a modified msr hot tent with his hammock. Has anyone ever tried making their own. If so do you have a ballpark measurement or diagram of how you did it.....I am taking measurements of my hamkock and possible stove position etc. But, I am looking for any tips or ideas you may have......

I'm thinking of using a candle lantern as a stove for a mini hot tent in this canvas tent/sock that I made:

    The footprint is 5x5 feet.

When I tested it overnight without the stove I was able to close the gap at the bottom and slept comfortably all night.

outandback, how high in temp can you get that space when the temp outside is in the 20 to 30 range? Looks like it would be great in MN.

Outandback, that looks pretty awesome. What kind of temp difference are you getting?

It looks like maybe a 12 by 12 center with a cove type piece on the end? Great idea. I may toy with the same design but add a second cove/cubby on the other end for gear storage. What did you use for the stove jack? Im seeing online that a lot of guys are using welding blanket....seems like it works.

I built it as a heavy snow basecamp.
The design allows snow to just slide off with very little buildup.
Backyard testing I have gotten 68F inside @ 15F outside no wind burning charcoal.

Here's a bunch of design stage picts. There not in order.
This was my second hot tarp I made one for a standard 12x10 tarp as well before wanting something I could stand up in.

12'RL with 14' walls, supported with 4 internal poles. The end piece is called an Nth Degree GrizzBeak custom made by 2QZQ.
The tarp was made to my specs by OES using 1.1 syl nylon. The complete kit including stove weighs less than 6#

Here's the Kifaru wood stove broken down for packing. The best and lightest stove jacks are sold by Kifaru
its a silicone impregnated fiberglas cloth.

OutandBack; WOW! that is an amazing setup. Do you gain access to the hammock by lifting the beak pole up like a Victorian dress ? For want of a better analogy.
