I was so bummed out by having to miss this. Great looking fire, as always, but I didn't see a cardboard cut-out of the Jersey Devil. Maybe next year a life-sized version built from all those free pallets can be set ablaze.

What were some of the gourmet dishes that were cooked? And what dish won?

I'm only 30 minutes away and have a bunch of weekends open after mid-February if anyone's up for an encore hang.

    1. Thank you to all who planned and set up all the extras. 2. Thanks to Ratdog for answering my stupid questions. To All attendees, thank you for making my first group hang FANTASTIC. It was the first time meeting all of you (cepting SivrSurfr) and you all made me feel as if we had known each other for years. Unfortunately I left sat and missed the "Pallet Burn". Always next year. Looking forward to seeing you all again at other hangs and defiantly next years winter hang.

Too funny. You might be earning a new trail name there 'night eyes'.

Glad you made it, missed a chance to check out your setup, next time.

Hey really appreciate the chance to check out the Mariposa. Between you and Jolly I had a chance to try out my backpack choices and get great feedback. Great stuff.

Already thinking about next year and songs we can sing around the campfire. We had the voices this year but nobody knew the lyrics.

We need to pick some songs and learn the lyrics. Here's a suggestion:

And I'm Leaving by White Witch.

Saw this band live a couple of times in the 70's and they blew me away. This is one of my all-time favorite songs.

This is a song that Silentorpheus could wail on.
