ScottyVP, if you are anywhere near Edinburgh give me a shout and if I'm able to, would be good to meet up? The Pentlands hills have some awesome views of the city and some nice wooded areas to hang.

I'm still hooked ot TW....have a chat with Neil and see if he can help. I am 6 foot and 255 lbs and I have plenty of room in my green hornet. Here is a pic from a recent Boy Scout camp
We have 2 green hornets....2 gathered end hammocks underneath as gear storage and 2 3mx3m tarps
    All for about 170 gbp....

I've been using a DD frontline and DD tarp for a good while now. Been pleased with it, works fine and quite rugged, so good practicematerial. It's heavy and bulky though. I'm pretty sure I could fit a lighter hammock and tarp, for the same space and weight of one of the ones I have now.

I'd go for the woodsman, probably the lite version with a Fronkey bugnet. And either an edge or superfly tarp, depending on season and weather.

I think a setup closer to high-end gear will last you longer and be a better investment down the road.

I kind of don't to spend much more than about £80-90 at the moment.

I am tempted with the DD, I'm a sucker when it comes to things in Maroon Red (I know silly way to decide) and they've just release said hammock is said colour.

Gonna hold off for a sec though, continue my hunt - I can get a HH ultralight hammock for about £90 which is pretty tempting, but i know a lot of people tend to want to replace the tarp.

    Decisions Decisions...

Oh yeah, where in Denmark are you from?

Heard fine things about HH, would be tempted by that as well.

I live in the southeast, a city called Nykøbing Falster.

    Ahh cool.

I'm planning on living in Copenhagen for a few months over summer.

Excellent, not a bad city to be in I'm told
For what reasons are you going there, work, studies, vacation?

I've posted up a couple of bits on Ebay that may be of interest. Probably wont sell for much (is this allowed ? I do apologise if deemed inappropriate)

My mate from the UK is finishing his uni course and is moving out there to be with his girlfriend and has asked me to come along and just do some bar work.

Seemed like a fun idea before i decide what to go back to uni to do. The idea of studying there is quite tempting though.
