    super simple sewn through quilt

I was bored so I knocked together a super simple sewn through quilt. no differentials, basic.

Took about 1.5 hours and about £3

As yet no suspension, clips etc for use as top or under quilt. It will probably just be channels on the short side and hanging loops on the corners, but that is for tomorrow

I left extra fabric on one side to aid in hanging while stuffing.

Thanks Xtrekker. Its far to cold and miserable (bloody woeful even by British standards) here ATM but im trying to get a pyrenean through hike planned for summer and I'm getting overly excited and jumping the gun.

Yeah where'd you get your materials? I've been pondering trying to make an underquilt, but was worried that by the time I bought everything and put a lot of time into it, it would have been worth spending the money to just buy one that's already made.

Yes, $8 is inexpensive. I assume you had 'free' materials laying around. One day I'll make a down quilt. Yours looks good, real simple too!

I think it equates to about $5

I bought the fabric from a remnants shop local to me and pay about $12 per kg, all are unlabled so it takes a bit of knowledge to know what is what.

silver is a 1.1 oz riptop dwr 4m piece
brown is 0.9 0z dwr brushed nylon 4m piece

The filling is salvaged down from a duvet, probably about 450fp, its not great but provides me with practice and the sewing machine. Ill be making up another with the ideas gleaned from this build.

That is fast work! I've made all types of quilts, and the hardest for me was sewn through!

That's impressive. Nice work. I can't find fabric nearly that cheap.
