    Down calculation

Just need some reassurances. I've researched this pretty well, but I'm getting different answers from different sources. I have nine baffles that are 7x44x2. It's differentially cut (outer layer is 7.25 - lateral baffles). I'm thinking 1 oz of 850 per to get it to around 25F. Does that sound about right?

That should work out about right.
Perhaps now quite that low in an extremely humid environment.

Your calculation looks correct to give you about a 20% overstuff on your down. The temperature rating is all about the thickness of your quilt. There are quite a few threads on that topic.

In general, I use 70*F as the basis and expect to get about 20* out of each inch of loft. For a 2" quilt, I would expect it to be in the 30* range.

That does not factor in your personal temp, other gear being used or worn, etc. Hope that helps.
