Prior to this week I'd only slept in a hammock one time. I purchased one for camping trips with my cub scouts but circumstances changed and I never had opportunity to use it again.
After years of chronic back pain....... mattress-switching, foam toppers, strategic pillow placement, and everything else in the book..... I got desperate and pulled out my hammock. When I hopped online for ideas about how to mount it, I found these forums!
What a pleasant to surprise to find that many people sleep in hammocks full time, and to benefit from the collective knowledge of so much experience! I've learned a ton from reading here for just a couple days. I decided to give it a full week's trial, and moved the bed out of my room after 2 nights. Still have some tweaking to do, a learning curve to catch, and some holes in the wall to patch , but I'm seeing a difference in my back already.
Thanks to the many active members here whose previous posts have been so helpful to me already!
