Warbonnet SF Pole Mod in snow?

Since I set up my Superfly with No-Sew Pole Mod, I love it. Been in heavy rain and 20 mph wind gusts with no problems. Been backyard gear testing here in Louisiana with recent cold snap, and wondered if anyone has used the SF with Pole mod in snow? My guess is that this may not work well, accumulate snow, risk bending poles, etc. Anyone try this out? Also, what about experience with SF tie out and snow? Is it best to skip any sort of tie out or pole mod with snow? (I hope to get up to PA to hang next winter.)

I've done quite a bit of snow load testing but not with a Superfly.
What I determined was pullout work fine if you just want to hold the tarp angle keeping the snow
from bowing your tarp in but if you make a flattened area along the ridge there is a good chance
it will not allow the snow to slide off.

Which can result in a tarp or RL failure.

This is my DIY tarp with single pole mod inside with a snow load. Works real goodly.

Thanks to you both. All of the pics are great and really illustrate the set ups and limits well. My pole mod is exterior and likely creates too much of a horizontal shelf, based on all the pics. I like that internal single pole mod. Maybe I'll look into making a similar mod. (By the way, the attached pic is my external pole mod ... under snow load from last week's "winter storm" in Louisiana. This hammock stuff has me braving the Louisiana elements, and has opened up a whole new camping season for me. As a prior ground-dweller, I hated going out in the rain and cold. Now, I can't wait. All of my friends/family think I'm crazy, as I slept outside last week when it was 20 degrees with a Real Feel of 11. Wind gusts of 20 mph...loved it!

    Thanks to both again.
