Can anyone tell me about how long it takes to get up there from downtown Louisville? I'm thinking of coming up Thursday for two nights!

Looks like a little over 2 hours, according to google. YMMV.

Camp all around the meadow. Will you be getting there Friday or Thursday? I am going on Thursday.

The reflective red and white tape is mostly gone now. Everyone should get familiar with that place on the trail that says #2, and the maps found on this thread. That marker is right before you cross the creek. Don't cross that creek, just turn North and bushwhack keeping the large creek on your right most of the way. Part of the way it will be on your left because you must cross to avoid a very steep and high bank.

Keep watching the thread. I am going down on Thursday too, I'll post what time I am arriving as the day gets closer, not sure at this time but probably early afternoon.

I look forward to seeing everyone this year. As it looks, I'll only be there friday night, but I'm glad to have a chance at getting outside and into the piney woods.
I like big hammocks - I cannot like.
