I have the EE Rev X 20*, and have used it down to 20* with real feel down to 11*. Awesome. Very well-made. I did not pop for the DWR or treated down, but that quilt is well made, and WARM. It's like sleeping in a cloud. That and my JRB 20* 3/4 length Greylock 3 have opened up the entire winter for me. Now I actually prefer the cold weather. No complaints at all with EE.

No complaints with JRB. Very nicely made UQ.

Also, I have a UGO 50* Flight Jacket TQ. Also awesome.

    Nice choices.

After a bit of research I really think I am leaning towards a top quilt from EE, but I dont hear as much talk about this company as say HG or UGQ.

For you EE quilt owners, how do you like your quilts from them, and how do they stack up quality wise to HQ and UGQ?

Just trying to put the final nails in my decision on what to buy.

    Thanks again all!

I have an EE Revelation 0 degree TQ I purchased new and received in early Dec. I have used it a half dozen times. Great design and workmanship. Very pleased with it. So pleased I just ordered an Enigma 50 degree TQ.

Can't say how EE stacks up against the two other quilt makers you mention as I have no experience with them.

I have an EE RevX 20 and RevX 0. Both are excellent and very warm. Tim was also kind enough to donate 2 quilts to the Floridan Trail Association Annual Conference Auction (www.floridatrail.com) coming up this March. Great product and great company supporting the outdoors. Thanks Tim.

    Shake Test

At high fill powers, all water resistant down has proven to be successful at repelling water, less so (shake test) at lower fill weights.

I just got a RevX 20* for Christmas and have used it a couple times to the mid to upper 20s. Plenty warm there and could go plenty lower. It has some serious loft to it but mine weighed in a little more than the site said. I believe they had it at 27.5 oz and mine came in around 30.5 in the included stuff sack. Definitely not ruling out that my kitchen scale could be off though...
