    I fnally did it!!!

After joining this site all the way back in October and posting almost 100 times I have finally did it!

    I ordered my first hammock!!!!

This weekend I ordered a Warbonnet Blackbird 1.7 DL and a Mamajamba tarp. Since I have already received my topquilt from UGQ then I am pretty much set when my hammock comes in!! I can't wait to add my setup to my profile!

I am just hoping it comes in before my 10-yr-old son and I had planned to go on a camping trip in a few weeks. He got a hammock for his birthday last month.

So thanks to everyone for all your help. I am really excited about my choice and can't wait to hang multiple times this year!!

You are going to get to know the mail delivery people very well as you will now start standing by the mailbox every day.
Keep movin', keep believing and enjoy the journey!

Yes I am already thinking how I might be able to take off of work whenever the day comes that tracking says "out for delivery".

    +1
When I was using a tent I found myself always trying to find a way to not set it up. Taking it down was always a hassle. Wet, slugs, cleaning it when I got home.. Last year on the AT I ran into a bunch of people doing the same. They would always hit the shelters even if they were crowded to avoid their tents. I can honestly say I find every possible opportunity to hang my hammock.

It should make you feel better, that I ordered my XLC 1.1 DBL and Superfly on Jan 29th and it will be here tomorrow Brandon seems to be pumping them out at the moment and there is a good chance you will get yours in time.

    Congrats!

I sure hope so! I would love to have it a few days early so I could try it in the backyard first.

Wow! You were right!!! I posted earlier that I hoped so and then got an e-mail saying my order is shipping out TODAY!!! So I am totally pumped I am getting it before the trip so I will have time to tinker with it and hopefully figure everything out before going.

    I am REALLY excited now!!!
