Wentworth, hang in there it is well worth the wait (and weight.)

In other news, does any one know what the two para cord looking strings are for? My nest does not have them. Maybe it is for using as a belt when in pocho mode?

Yes, I think you can tie them together when you are wearing as a poncho. Or you can use one of your suspension cords as a belt with the 'biner's connected.

The cords you're talking about (I think) are tied together when used as a top quilt to insure that you don't "kick" the velcro open on the footbox.

Ok... just about every one is correct....

The two 1.5 inch flat cords are positioned to provide additional footbox security for tossing ground sleepers who have partially opened foot boxes with their reastlessness.

They also give the Stealth and NS a tie capability at the waist with out having to use the suspension cord as a belt ( although that work great as well in our opinion).

They are not on the Nest as it is used as an under quilt 99.44% of the time and are thus not needed.

Is that statistic obtained via proper double-blind repeated studies?

I just set up mine on the ground, well my living room floor. So I am sitting at 99.9923%.

My Stealth arrived. Verrrry nice. The ripstop is much silkier than my original nest. It will be getting a good test out for three days this saturday.

    Congrats!

I will be taking mine on a two day hike this weekend.

Since my wife has been out of town I have been testing it out at night by shutting off the heat, opening all the windows in our place and sleeping in the Stealth. The temp has gotten down into the high 40's in the bedroom by morning and the stealth has been keeping me a little too warm!
