Originally I was going to hike Blackfork Mountain trail but was concerned about the Ouachita river not being done rising due to the rain we got the day before. I didn't want to get stuck but I had planned for this and had my OT section 3 map with me also and hiked toward Hwy 88 from the Blackfork trailhead. It was below freezing when we started which is lower than what the weather was predicting. I brought my dog and I'm not too big on her staying the night if its below 25F. We got into freezing fog as can be seen in my Youtube video from the hike. Even at an elevation below the freezing fog it was 29F on my thermometer midday so we did not stay the night for the dog's sake. There were very many trees down. Small trees, limbs, very large trees. Some sections were fairly clear while others were outright terrible. Need a whole crew to get that area clear.
