    Underquilt ??

Ok, so I haven't really even started this whole hammocking adventure yet, and already I am hooked and thinking about the future, upgrades, etc.

A novice, I have started with an ENO, and the entire OneLink System. Although I am in the hammock almost every night, lounging in the backyard, I haven't done an overnight. This comes next week on our trip to Minnesota, where I will be using a pad and North Face bag as my TQ. And hoping it gets me through the low-50's nights comfortably. Fortunatly, not my only option, as we have a cabin up there w/ the fam.

So, question is this, I can see myself migrating to a Blackbird eventually/soon. Love the features and the write-ups on the forum. Not to mention Shug's videos! I have to meet this guy! (By the way Shug, I book entertainment, and produce events, and festivals, for a small town in NC, I need to bring you in/book you for a show in our theatre, or a festival gig, and we can get in some camping while your our this way! Ever find yourself on the East Coast? Small Town = Small Budget)

Sorry, back to our regularly scheduled program... So I am looking for suggestions on a good UQ that willwork with the ENO Doublenest for the time being, but that will also then mate perfectly with the BB in the future. Thoughts? Suggestions? Random Observations? Shug?????

Good news is that any under quilt out there should work great on your ENO. The bad news is that you still have to choose which one you want. It really breaks down to how much you have to spend. All the commercially available quilts out there should be able to keep you comfortable at 50*.

HC is definitely correct in that any UQ will work with the ENO hammocks. I used both JRB and Speer UQ's on my ENO before I switched over. Just pick the UQ you want and go for it. If you're interested in giving it a go, you're wlecome to borrow my SnugFit some time.

The Yeti from Warbonnet is another good option if your interested in a 2/3 UQ that works well with any gathered end hammock (I noticed your considering your options with a Blackbird)
the Yeti is not on the Warbonnet website (I don't think...I havn't visted recently)...email Brandon and ask him

Good luck with the UQ decision...

commercially it's now like walking down the cereal isle at the grocery-so many excellent choices and it's hard to go wrong.
Intended use is the key; you'll have to decide how low you want to go.
In the end you'll have several.
