In every one of your awesome pics I was looking for snakes-Tigers,Browns!
Why not stock up that cave-never know when the war will spill into OZ,could you
tell if the cave had much/recent visitation?
I've backpacked/paddle on the s.island of your neighboring country 3 years ago--no snakes in NZ!!!
But thinking about the snakes in Oz I know why you love the hammock

Yeah good idea. The cave doesnt see many people since its so remote, but I could stock stuff there for the coming judgment day terminator style

No snakes seen on this trip. Had my eyes and ears open for them but nothing.

No UQ in the BB pics? Whatcha using for insulation?

Love the bush. Get to go on a hike out to Powelltown Vic- trouble is it's the end of June (brr!) and the people I'm going with don't trust hammocks... yet.

    Hi T.H.

    Powelltown, sounds nice.

For insulation I have a my DIY underquilt and also this

I left them out of the picture cuz they are ugly and not worthy of a picture with the BB

Hey, I like the windscreen pad.

Was this trip recent? What kind of temperatures did you experience? I know it's NSW in comparison to me freezing here in Melbourne, but I'd be interested in your lows. (bonus, you can talk in Celsius and I'll understand without having to convert from Fahrenheit in google!)
