Went on a dayhike one weekend from the Hwy 7 trail head of the Ouachita trail to FR122. Trail conditions were pretty good with just a few step over trees here and there. Definitely appears section from Hwy 7 to the Moonshine shelter is more traveled than from the shelter to FR122. Didn't see one but saw quite a lot of signs of bears in between the shelter and FR122 and the trail was slightly harder to follow in that section due to lack of travel but blazes are a plenty. Didn't see any goldfish(the pond had a sheet of ice on top).
