I paid $0.78 per foot for 7/64 the other day at West Marine. Not the best unless you need it fast and can't wait for it to come in the mail.

Redden Marine has the best prices on Amsteel Blue: 7/64 @16 cents/ft

    http://www.reddenmarine.com/site/ite...AMRAMSTLBLU764

If you call them with a small quantity order, they will only charge you actual postage. I believe the 7/64's would make a good bear bag line.

Was going to order a bit just now from Redden Marine. Shipping does seem to be a bit expensive, $8.88 for 100'. I think I might give them a call before ordering.

I ordered 100' from Seattle Marine back on 16 June. Still haven't received it. Sent 3 messages asking when it will ship ... no response. Plan to call tomorrow. Not impressed with their customer service.

I placed an order with them on 6/23; on 6/29 I got an email that the order was completed, along with a UPS tracking number. Also, they didn't charge my credit card until the order was processed. I figured we're pretty small fry to them, so I didn't expect much interaction.

Hope you get your stuff soon!
