    Newbie from Wisconsin

Howdy everyone, I am from Whitewater Wisconsin. I am an assistant scout master for troop 243. I have been camping once a month since my son joined scouts 1 1/2 years ago, enjoying every moment of it. Several months ago I was directed to listen to a podcast named scout master cg, great cast. They had a cast about hammock camping. I have been hooked ever since, though I haven't done any hanging yet. I'm tired of being a shlup and sleeping on the ground. I have been doing my homework. Picked up the book ultimate hang and watched a lot of Shug. I'm also looking forward to learning from all of you.

Welcome from just up the road!

Richard Bong state park does, or at least did, have a few good sites for hanging. Nice hiking trails too, to tire the nephews out a bit before bedtime Wouldn't be difficult to meet you out there to show you the "ropes"
