If I had to choose only one of my tarps, I would keep my JRB 10'x11'. At 19oz, I can use it in all seasons including the winter. It is in fact my winter tarp. Since the cat cuts are slight, it behaves close to a rectangular which makes it incredibly versatile.

Man there are a lot of nice tarps out there. Keep the tarps and pics coming this is great. Hammock Forums in the middle of a winter storm it don't get no better than this as long as we keep power and internet.

get a nice tarp and you can camp out in the winter storm when you lose power.

I only have one tarp, it's a SuperFly (the newer, with doors, model). If I get another, without doors, I think I'd get the MacCat Deluxe.

I agree with everyone that has posted but the question is, what season do you plan to use it? What type of weather do you plan your trips around? How much money do you have? these are all factors in what you would need. I do love my cuban HG 4 season (standard) I also love my The Edge tarp for clear weather in the summer.

I usually go when it's cooler weather, from Feb. up to early May. We do a lot of overnighters during this time because it's so close for us. Then we will go back at it after Thanksgiving. My summer camping is in an RV. Once it starts getting warm I'm in the turkey woods or on the lake catching crappie. We do a week every year in March or April on the A.T. and start where we left off the year before so I want to make sure I'm covered. I really don't want to spend over $200

Even considering all that the one tarp that rules them all is the Superfly since it will cover all hanging situations, is lighter than most with the same coverage and the price is very reasonable.

So far I will agree for the price and the coverage the Superfly is going to be hard to beat.
